Five more Certified Club Managers for Europe

Five members of the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) have passed the exam to become Certified Club Managers in November.

Alberto Iglesias of Font Del Llop in Spain, Ascanio Pacelli of Terre de Consoli in Italy, Robert Brewer of Royal Wimbledon Golf Club in England, Graham Stewart of Golf de LaLargue Sarl in France and Gabriel Sota Sanz of Golf Ramón Sota in Spain all passed the CCM exam bringing the number of Certified Club Managers in Europe to a total of 44.

A Federação Portuguesa de Golfe (FPF) congratula-se pelo “tetra” de Portugal como melhor destino de turismo de golfe do mundo. A distinção foi atribuída pelos World Golf Awards que, pelo quarto ano consecutivo, reconheceu Portugal como o destino n.o 1 mundial ao nível da excelência no turismo de golfe.

Real Club Sevilla Golf y la Asociación Española de Gerentes de Golf han llegado a un acuerdo para celebrar las VIII Jornadas Técnicas y el Campeonato Nacional de Gerentes de Golf de la AEGG durante los días 13, 14 y 15 de noviembre en el  incomparable marco de la ciudad de Sevilla y un gran campo de golf como es el Real Club Sevilla Golf, diseñado por José María Olazábal y que ha celebrado importantes campeonatos a lo largo de sus 25 años de historia.

Vimos desta forma dar conhecimento que o programa de Formação “Capacitação – Segmento Golfe” que estava programado iniciar-se no dia 29 de Setembro na Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve, mais uma vez não se irá realizar por falta de inscritos.

Estamos no entanto a programar nova calendarização deste programa de formação para início de 2018 pelo que a tempo daremos conhecimento a todos por esta via das novas datas para a iniciação deste programa de formação

Creating and delivering a successful social events programme

One of the key elements of a private members’ club is its social events programme.  A successful programme can create a real sense of belonging and contribute greatly to the life and soul of the Club.  As a result one of the most important processes I go through as Events Manager at Roehampton Club, is to generate and develop different ideas and then implement them into producing a vibrant programme of events for both the Adult and Junior membership to enjoy.
