Ten Scottish Golf Club Managers and Senior Staff received their MDP Diplomas at a recent presentation ceremony in Stirling. The Diploma is awarded across Europe by the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) as a key qualification in their Management Development Programme (MDP).

It has been my intention for some time to write an article about my experience on the importance of hiring a specialized, professional irrigation audit firm before deciding to make any type of investment related to irrigation of our golf course. Leading club managers from Europe and America gathered in London recently for the 2016 Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) Business Management Institute (BMI) International Conference from 6-11 October.
